8 months! (and then some)

So I'm still growing like crazy. Just got over a cold and I lost a lot of rhythm in sleep, eating, etc during that time. I also lost a little weight, I think, but have rebounded splendidly. I'm still chunky and have my extra chin for padding. Got a lot of new pictures up, including a bunch of family shots of our trip to Ohio. There are lots more where these came from! oh, and some of these shots were already there from my last blog entry.

So, my online presence has been somewhat lack of late, but I blame my dad for all that. I finally coerced him into putting new pictures up and letting everyone know about them. I've been cute since my last post here in March; I've gotten two teeth, I can sit up, I can stand a little with help, I coo and bite and smile and all sorts of fun things! Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the pictures.

I'm getting over it

So I'm finally getting over my cold, although something is bothering my ear somewhat. We've been to the doctor to make sure it isn't an infection, so it probably has to do with the way I sleep. I've finished my second month in this outside world, and I'm enjoying my third month immensely. My cousin Eden and aunt Becca are here visiting at the moment, and we're having such a wonderful time. Anyway, I've got to go be a good host!

So I can laugh, but I enjoy making mom and dad try really hard to get it on film. Here is the first attempt, where I laugh very slightly about 1/3 of the way in. I look right into the camera and raise my eyebrow.

Pimply faced!

I'm sleeping off last night's lack of sleep, and barely have time for pictures. Someone got this one while I was napping on Aunt Heidi. Hey, two pictures with me and Heidi in two days!

ONE MONTH!

I Just can't believe it, but I've been gracing this world with my presence for an entire month now. I'm letting everyone see my personality more and more every day. I've had some problems with baby acne, but otherwise I'm doing swell.

Quiet Week

So I've had a quiet week. I need to remind dad of his duties to post pics more frequently. I'll figure something out. At any rate, he finally posted them. There's even one of me showing off my orange fuzzibunz diapers. I'm such a stud.

No Pics

So I had no pictures taken of me yesterday, but I have good reason. Yesterday was my snip-snip day! I did great through the procedure and didn't even wet on the doctor (although she deserved it after doing that to me!). Well afterwards I was very upset and needed to cuddle and feed most of the day with mommy. The camera, therefore, stayed firmly stowed in its case. I'll be more photogenic today, I promise.

Goblins

So, I'm doing ok. My current fear is goblins. I get lots of little goop in my eyes, although my tear ducts are finally kicking into gear. And since I'm a shameless little fellow, I'm going to post about my nose goblins. Mommy kept taking pictures of them, so I figured it was fair game. Enjoy!

I'm Home!

So I got home this afternoon, and I am doing well. It feels really good to be here, like this is what I wanted all along. We'll see how the first night goes, but so far I'm feeling pretty sleepy. Maybe this is a good sign.

So I finally decided I would show up. It took me a while to get out, and I caused some mayhem on the way out the door, but I'm here safe and sound. I can aready eat and cry and pee on my daddy.

Me, I'm on my own schedule

So, I'm still ignoring the pleadings of my parental units and being stubborn in my refusal to meet them. But ... I have the sneaking suspicion that I won't hold out forever.

So, it will be 39 weeks tomorrow. I don't care, I'm waiting them all out! So what if they're tired, sore, grumpy, antsy, anxious, excited, nervous, exasperated, ... well you get the idea. Nope, doesn't matter to me, little Zedekiah Collier*.

Ok, so evidently there are lots of you out there that like the name Zedekiah. As, if! Of course Zerubbabel is a much better name. There's no way anyone could make fun of a name like Zerubabbel; its hip and trendy like all get out, too! And apparently someone out there wanted to scar me for life with a stinker like Zebulon! Woah, what a name!
